My day is looking a little different.

My post started with upvotes. It then led to a bunch of downvotes HOURS after it was initially posted. Just after I added my children’s name to ancestry.com, I received a comment on here that sounded like a threat to frame me as some type of risk to myself or others. Unfortunately, the mods don’t care to enforce the rules that are on the sidebar, with regard to being respectful. All I did was mention my kids on Mother’s Day, and it appears my distant cousins stalked my posts to make sure I would be silent about my children. That, or I’ve had some really disrespectful gang of strangers decide to verbally attack me for no cause that effects their lives whatsoever.

I wouldn’t bother. They frequently accuse people of creating alts to harass them. Despite the fact that the majority of said accounts are older than theirs.

Edited to remove a potentially unhealthy toxic sarcastic remark.

I appreciate you don’t want me wasting my time or getting frustrated.

But as frustrating as it is dealing with people having mental health issues ignoring them is part of the problem at a societal level.

It’s also important not to entertain their delusions and to encourage them to seek help at every opportunity.

I entirely agree and appreciate the sentiment but this person has a history of this and just accusing anyone who makes that suggestion with whatever comes to mind. IRL I’m all for it but at some point as more and more people become aware of this poster pattern of behaviour it become disruptive to the community and the repeated negative pushback can’t be healthy or helping to the poster.
