I know it’s a circumvention of the issue, and at times annoying, but you can add
-site:reddit.comto the search to rule out a site, iircOr you can just use a different, less biased search engine.

When I searched Lemmy Clients first result was a Wiki page, second was the actual join lemmy page, and the third being a Lemmy you should know post about clients

Meh. Lemmy’s ephemeral, and there’s no way Google can tell that a link on lemmya.ml and on lemmyb.xxx are actually the same Lemmy post.

Reddit bills search engines for scraping the site now, and Google is the only one that’s agreed to pay.
Use another search engine and you’ll get less reddit results.

That’s exactly what I did. The results were so much better, so I paid for a plan. Kagi and Proton were huge for my degoogling that I have been working on.
Same, i upgraded to pro because i use it almost exlusivly now. Ai summaries are also pretty good for a quick overview. Well worth the money.
I dont use the AI a whole lot in the normal day to day, but it has been downright amazing for working on poweshell scripts. Helped me fix a script I was trying to make multithreaded lol
