would you say that even the most basic low-brow rotgut bottom shelf ten bucks per bottle vodka will do, or should i aim higher into midrange stuff to decrease incidence of nasty aftertastes and trace impurities?
I go for the middle shelf stuff myself. When I was drinking $10/handle vodka, I was in the quantity over quality phase of my life. I’d like to think I’ve matured since then lol.

What you want to do is put bunch of gummy bears (or worms and such) in vodka for overnight, drain the vodka (to mouth preferably) and enjoy vodka infused candies. They make a great party snack, but it’s recommended to serve them in 18+ (or 16 or 21) parties only.
Vitamin gummies have about 50% of what it says on the label or less.
