There’s been a few dud tasks this series, the superpower flour one being one of the worst they’ve ever done, but it’s really picking up with the twins task last episode and the horse one this episode. Phil removing the raisins from the wheel and Ania putting it on an olive felt like proper Dave-era taskmaster, before all the extra stipulations were added to every task to prevent lateral thinking.
I think the flour superpower one would have been better if the guys hadn’t all snagged their own ducks. Having to deal with something someone else came up with is so much more entertaining.
Definitely. I think likewise with snakes & ladders, the concept was good but because of the placement of Phil and Ania’s snakes & ladders it was over too quickly for four of them. It probably would have worked better for them each to do someone else’s board design, rather than all five on the one board.
