Reminds me of xitter changing its algorithm to boost musk’s tweets when he took over.

Man, that pendulum swing from “the uncarrier” to full blown horrible large corporation. That merger with Sprint sure has made things better for customers, right?
Concierge hospitals give monocles too.

Ah, I see what you’re saying, I misunderstood and thought you were taking about picking a different book. Indeed, for the worst case scenario a mediocre AI voice could be an improvement!

You seem to be implying that’s ridiculous, but it is indeed exactly like that, though it’s not like I’m expecting every performance to be a masterpiece.
It’s also pretty subjective, for example folks either seem to love or hate R. C. Bray. My mother can’t stand the guy’s style, I think he’s okay.

For now at least I bet this’ll be pretty mediocre. I’m a big audiobook fan and voice actors have a massive impact on the quality of the finished product. A great voice actor can make a mediocre book fun and engaging, a bad one can make a great book unlistenable. The best do great voice differentiation. As an example I’ve really enjoyed Andrea Parsneau’s work in The Wandering Inn series.

They chimed in elsewhere, sounds like they want consensus amongst the admin group and they are worried about the recent (frankly transphobic) UK Supreme Court ruling. They also expressed understanding that blahaj wanted to move faster and defederate.
Edit: Source I was referencing. Not advocating for or against, but there at least appears to be a bit more nuance than straight up support of or apathy about transphobia.

Wow, now I’m just waiting for them to concoct a way to expire old lifetime passes: “Oh you have a pass for Plex1 which has reached end of life — please buy a pass for the all new Plex2!”
I bought a lifetime pass a decade ago or more so my and my immediate family’s personal use is immune, but it screws over some friends who use my server, the fact that they are double charging by getting the server and watcher is mind boggling.

Trying to make Donny Jr accountable? That’s a tarrifing.
Jokes on them, we used IVF, they got picked for who knows what reason under a microscope.
From your most photogenic swimmer.

It has “force”, but it’s not very impressive, I can shoot saliva in approximately a 1ft / 30cm arch.

This is my time to shine, my body is full of useless, I can:

Gladly.

I’m pretty sure all insect fragments, rodent droppings, and the like all vanish as soon as they cross the EU border in accordance with food safety regulations. /s
I did start reading into said EU regulations a bit, but I won’t ruin your day.

I was mostly musing on the schadenfreude of sovcits unleashed upon debt collectors. Your advice (or probably anything other than pretending to be a sovcit) is almost certainly better for someone actually going through debt collections.

I assume hard cases here refer to people who aren’t responsive or put ups fight?
I’d imagine a motivated sovcit could be way more of a pain because they cause active headaches with frivolous filings and wasting time vs just not paying. Though maybe I’m giving them too much credit or debt collectors too little credit.

You’re not going to be encouraged by everything else they allow.
Though I think (anyone feel free to jump in if I’ve got it wrong) that the coffee limits are not 10% non-coffee matter by weight but rather 10% of beans demonstrating insect damage/infestation/mold. This is not exactly reassuring, but it’s almost certainly far less insects than 10% of your coffee bag’s weight being ground up buggies. You can read about the FDA’s coffee analysis process which is interesting, if somewhat opaque.
Thank you, I scrolled all the way to the end of the comments and was worried this wouldn’t be here.
