I’d call that a yellow velvet.

It would break all the memes about arch
Also I’d rather care about the opinion of anime addicts and furries that about the opinion of intolerant assholes.
I once was reported by the high school programming class for “plagiarism” because I used visual studio’s auto-generated template to start my homework.
The teacher reported it to my parents, he wanted to make me fail. I was also reported for creating a “hidden” chat app that I shared with my friends. (It didn’t show in the taskbar.)
Next Christmas, they bought me a visual studio license at home!
“Good paint pens” are so expensive… Also they go through standard printing paper so they need expensive special paper…
That being said, i don’t draw/paint, so i don’t understand the appeal of these special pens.
i_love_FFT@jlai.luto Comic Strips@lemmy.world•Bourgeois art (starving artists not welcome)1·2 months agoMy interpretation combined with my observations of the world is as follows.:
Bourgeoisie art scene is a sanitized/toned down version of proletarian art, which could be called more “raw” or “real”. Fancy artists act as sort of explorers of raw art and pre-digest it so the (diluted) message can still somewhat reach those who wouldn’t have looked at that real art.
They make more money simply because they come from this social class. They get “inspired” by poor artists and copy their style, making more money out of it.
Are they artists? Yeah… Are they true innovators? No way!
The meaning can also be literal if you interpret it using quantum physics. Observing the quantum state of a molecule will collapse its wavefunction in the most likely state, which is the same state it was in if you observed it mere instants ago.
Is one really real responsible or one’s choices of they were not aware of their consequences? (I personally do think so)
But what if they had wrong information?
And what if they were purposefully misinformed by a third party for that third party’s gain?

i_love_FFT@jlai.luto Comic Strips@lemmy.world•Existential Comics: Nietzsche Discovers AI Art81·4 months agoTo me, art must include a person’s perspective on the world. If a machine creates the exact same thing as a human, the human one would be called art, and the other a print.
When a human uses machines to create art (ex: techno music), it’s harder for me to recognize it as art, but it can still happen.
I just got a new raincoat. Now every time it rains i get some dopamine!
What if some parts of the universe are deterministic, and some others aren’t? Or that is is deterministic sometimes, but sometimes it is not?
Then, would it mean that initiating a chain of deterministic events that eventually causes suffering makes me responsible for this suffering?
What if i choose to cut taxes because i think I’ll have more money, but it causes a series of events that end up increasing organised crimes? What if it was always the deterministic result of that choice, but the choice itself was not deterministic and I could have chosen not to do it?

If you got the time, I find it incredibly satisfying to spend time to fix just one little thing in the house, (like a creaking door for example). Then, every time I use that thing, it reminds me of that success.
Even if it’s just one simple fix out of the dozens of broken things, it still feels good! Also, friends may help with fixing the house 😉
Yeah, that one is just a melting dumpster… slushy?
