Depends on how old, but OnStar has been around since before 2000.
Early implementations may have been less creepy, but I’m not sure there’s any way to know.

If I understand correctly, none of this is legally enforceable anyways.
Fuck it, just rip the antennae out. The only wireless connection a car needs these days is Bluetooth, and there’s workarounds for that.
They are heavily entrenched in Texas. They will have to badly piss off most people enough that they all go vote in the same cycle.
Our state government has actually been getting much more radical over the past few years, because the only people who vote are conservative radicals, because everyone else is either apathetic or aware that their vote won’t matter unless millions of people suddenly wake up tomorrow and vote.
It isn’t a super deep game to me, but it is simple with a decent skill ceiling. I remember getting totally rolled on an automaton mission.
It also has a pretty good community and sells a fantasy, like DRG. I think that a what people love most about it.
Because most men don’t. You or your partners(s) are very lucky people lol
I don’t think so, mostly because those companies are some of the worst manipulators of our democracy.
In terms of actually helping to manufacture weapons, there are necessary and ethical uses for those weapons, and you as an individual cannot choose where they go. Not an issue IMO.
Very understandable. My 8 was $550, but honestly I think it’s overkill in some ways. I’d like to see what concessions are made on the 8a.
I use a pixel 8. If you care about security or privacy, GrapheneOS simply has no substitute.
Battery life lasts about a day and a half. Performance is solid, camera is solid, and it has an AMOLED for active display.
Nothing. A social network is a public forum, and you have no expectation of privacy on a public forum.
DMs are the exception, and it should be explained to users that they are not private. E2E DMs would be cool, but the potential for spam and abuse is just too high.
Not even on the same scale. Female circumcision is the complete removal of the clitoris and large portions of the labia. It is usually done to teens, carried out via acid, and without anesthesia.
A circumcised dick at least still works fine, and you don’t remember it if it’s done when you’re an infant.
Tl;Dr: The Old Testament is included for history and context. Part of the thing Jesus does is free them from having to follow the old laws, which is why pastors quoting Leviticus to justify ostracizing gay people (or anything else) are full of shit.
Preventing religious people from circumcising their kids would violate their religious liberties in the US.
Mostly though, nobody cares.
Unless you’re talking about “female circumcision” which is a totally different and way more horrific thing.
If it is by the consent of the rest of the states, then yes. I’m not aware of any existing legal process, but a constitutional amendment could fix that.
Such a thing is unlikely to ever happen. Territory means people, infrastructure, and resources, so it’s almost always better to hold onto it, unless you can’t defend it.
Your family must not be my family. I could be in the exact same situation, but I’m choosing to barely make rent each month on a 1br.
It is very expensive, but if I lived at home, I could not have sex, and having a partner over for non-sex reasons would be…very weird.
Plus, my family doesn’t allow me to cook anything in oil because of the smells. Boiling, baking, and grilling only.
So…yeah. I like having a partner. And having some nookie. Plus, the space is nice.
I think it depends on circumstances.
We still have people here who use phrases like “Indian giver” and “>!wigger!<”, and describe dads parenting as " babysitting". Phrases like these will offend people and should not be used.
Saying “partner” instead of husband/wife directly helps people who don’t want to specify because being out of the closet is a political statement. Referring to your partner as your husband/wife/whatever doesn’t offend anyone (at least, no reasonable person), but it’s a nice gesture.
Then we have shit like LatinX which is made up by bored white people on Twitter. It’s cringeworthy, stupid and nobody asked.
And these categories can change depending on locale. I live somewhere with little to no Romani population. If you tell someone here not to say “gypped”, they will tell you to touch grass. Nobody knows or cares about the origin of that word here. As I understand it though, it can be a very un-pc thing to say in some parts of of the world.
Yes. I live in Dallas and some medical issues make me sick any time the temperature gets above ~80.
The only reason to live here is the cost of living, which has risen quickly enough that other alternatives like Chicago are starting to look good.
Also, our state government is completely nanners.
As a service industry worker, I wouldn’t bother. We generally treat it as a “cool they left money for some reason”.
Yes. I live in Texas, and the heat makes me sick. I’m literally planning on being too sick to work or anything three days next week because its going to be unseasonably warm, and the central AC hasn’t been kicked on yet.
Also, whatever the fuck is wrong with our state government. We made abortion illegal BEFORE Roe was overturned.
I wouldn’t address it, honestly I think a better way to handle the issue is to fix our education & healthcare systems and stiffen up penalties for unsecured firearms some.
I think that would solve the vast majority of the problem, and there would no longer be sufficient reason to bother.
Mime is from 2016 and does. There’s no outward indication (the smartest thing exposed to the driver is Sirius XM), but the salesman told me it could be located in the event of theft, and it has microphones in it.
