There’s a video, maybe not my favorite, but I have watched it twice, and it’s in the 24 hour range. The one where Breath of the Wild was first 100%'ed in under 24 hours. Really like it bc it’s from before the discovery of windbombs (the trick where they launch themselves great distances using the bomb rune), so it’s slower, more methodical. It’s quite relaxing, but yeah it isn’t something to watch in one sitting, even though the video was made in one sitting.
Not fond of this “both sides” attitude - you don’t see women threatening the safety of men: the onus is on men to ensure that women feel safe around them. It’s not enough to not hurt a woman, but to ensure the woman is always in a situation where she feels like you aren’t a threat. Don’t isolate her from a crowd as there is safety in numbers. Be confrontational against men who male her feel unsafe. Keep space so she doesn’t have to fear sudden movements from you. Etc etc etc. It’s work to navigate in such an environment, but it isn’t impossible.
If you want to engage with women on more equal footing, your enemy is the men who are making them feel unsafe, not the women for feeling unsafe. This is the only viable path forward.

If you cross the US Mexico boarder by land they don’t check your passport, but you’ll have a rough go of it if you don’t speak Spanish. Might still be better than staying in the US though. And since Spanish is a European language you’ll have an easier time than other countries

Personally I take <side> on <topic> because <reasons typical for my side> and I take offense that you would suggest that it’s entirely a manufactured issue created by the capital class to keep us fighting each other instead of them. Even suggesting it just serves the purpose of <other side>!
(not to imply that culture war bullshit doesn’t have real world consequences, that’s why the capital class picks these topics as wedge issues)
Western Europe, 1950s era. Capitalism had to make compromises. The soviet union was right next door - if people realized that seizing the means of production would improve their quality of life, they’d have a communist revolution on their hands. So concessions were made. “See, you don’t need communism to have a good life, we’re giving you all those things too!”
And finally, the capitalists won and the soviet union was no more, parceled up and sold to the capital owners in the west. Now they don’t feel the need to make concessions without a major communist power in their backyard. So they roll back the progress slowly, hoping no one notices.
So basically we didn’t have a material that could function as a cathode until now?

That’s a capitalism problem, not a resource problem. All resources require labor to harvest, renewable or no.

Currently living in Shenzhen and you’d be surprised that you can actually have it both ways. You can get around via transit quite easily, but also driving isn’t too difficult. The problem with US cities is mostly just single family homes, which waste a bunch of space. If everything is less dense, you have to drive further to get to where you want to go, and building public transit makes less sense since it needs to service more areas to reach the same amount of people
Yeah, I’m quite curious myself as to why it’s more difficult. My chemistry knowledge is chem1 level so all I know is that sodium atoms are larger and the energy levels for state change are slightly different

I’ve been surprised by USB-C. I recently bought a Xiaomi phone and it takes like 10 minutes to charge with the charger that comes with the phone (and it still works with the other ones). It’s 120 watts
At that rate it’d still take 12 hours to charge a 1440 watt hour battery, which isn’t the hour or two that people are used to with superchargers these days, but actually surprisingly servicable.
