I agree. You hit all of the points that I felt the game fell short.
The castle was beautiful, but we didn’t spend rough time in it. Much of the open world felt like filler and it just wasn’t as enjoyable to be in.
The combat felt out of place in this game. Having a student running around killing people should not have been as normalized as it was. I think a focus on more non combat magic would have worked better. Some combat would be OK, but it should have been far rarer.

Kind of crazy how long it has taken them to get this feature when SteamOS and the likes have had it for at least 3 years at this point.
