They quite literally believe their primary reason for existence is to advertise for him
You’d think a deity could spread his message directly without the middlemen.
He can’t. He’s also terrible with money and needs your help.
They think their religion is under attack in mostly white affluent suburban American neighborhoods.
Because they fearfully recognize their lives aren’t advertisement enough.
