Not hackers. Animation studios outsourcing work to the lowest bidder and not caring where that bidder is based.

Where did you see that this was on a device related to hacking outside the fact that they mentioned North Korea…
Somehow, I’d never envisioned North Koreans surreptitiously performing remote work until today. Visibly offering prisoners as destructible laborers? Absolutely. Animation studio corrections? Way out of left field. WB cutting ties in January with the studio likely responsible for subcontracting to NK does seem a bit suspect, though.
