In one clip, Neumaier was seen singing the Nazi-era German national anthem along with …
I find this more so much more disturbing
It’s still the German anthem, it’s not especially Nazi.
Are you saying the modern German anthem is the same as the Nazi era German anthem?
More or less. The Deutschlandlied) is the hymn of Germany since before the Nazi era, wasn’t changed by the Nazis and still is today. But today only the third stanza is officially the hymn. However, people often sing the first one, which is the most well known.
During the Nazi era, there were a second hymn, which is more directly linked to this ideology.
However, people often sing the first one
Correction: Nazis - and only nazis - often sing the first one.
Are you sure? I may be wrong, it wouldn’t be the first time, but I have the impression that people sing easily “Deutschland über alles”.
(For context, I never lived in Germany, but always near the border, so I have sometimes a distorted vision of what occurs there)
but I have the impression that people sing easily “Deutschland über alles”.
What the fuck?
Dude, please connect to some Germans that aren’t Nazis.
The “Horst-Wessel-Lied”, also known by its opening words “Die Fahne hoch”, was the anthem of the Nazi Party from 1930 to 1945. From 1933 to 1945, the Nazis made it the de-facto co-national anthem of Nazi Germany, along with the first stanza of the “Deutschlandlied”. The “Horst-Wessel-Lied” has been banned in Germany and Austria since the end of World War II.

Yes. But this politician sang the Deutschlandlied, not the Horst-Wessel-Lied.
But this politician sang the Deutschlandlied
Not too sure where this info comes from?
I unfortunately saw the video on a shady French site when I searched for his name (here; you can click, but it’s not very interesting and you’ll have visited an alt-right website).
Well, this is different. In America our politicians lick boots.
Plenty of bootlickers in German politics, trust me.
Hilarious. This made me laugh so much.
Reading the title, I wasn’t sure if it was a sex thing or if he was demonstrating the cleanliness of German public toilets.
Trust me, most German public toilets are disgusting. Railway station toilets aren’t even free and a lot of them suck. The ones within a train? Even more disgusting. (If you’re lucky enough to find one that’s not closed for repair anyway.)
Could be an unusual way to keep cool. I’ve seen my dog lick furniture…
Whatever floats your toilet-bowl?
there’s the thing in the tank actually called a float, even 🤪
