I guess that makes more sense, they just converted their extra stairwell. Maybe there’s a shower at the top and a sink at the bottom. It’s just a bathroom with extra steps.
Looks like a weird nightmare.
Don’t you hate getting to that 10th step and thinking “I’m not gonna make 10 more steps before I shit myself… if only there were a shitter right HERE…”

I mean, I was once or twice in the situation where I really needed to shit and was scared whether I would make it to my toilet and I would’ve really appreciated a shitter on the stairs.
