She welcomes my touch, she knows all the sweet things to purr in my ear. Then she shits in my bed. And it’s not runny or slurry or abstractly bad. It’s just a non-smelling turd. Like a nondescript day at the office on a Tuesday. I don’t know how to handle this cat, graciously gifted to me by my girlfriend’s girlfriend. This cat is an enigma.
