How would you feel if your human covered themselves in another animal’s hair but meticulously removed yours? At least when cats bathe they have to taste you.

I have long since adopted the strategy of always changing into a different sweater dedicated to cat snuggling

After the cat sat in my lap, i brushed the hairs in her direction. She stood up in shock, flipped over and took off.

edit: lap, not lab, brushed, not shuffled

I know “lab” is an abbreviation for Labrador (a dog) or laboratory. You probably meant lap. I was a bit confused at first, because it’s entirely plausible for a cat to sit on a dog :) Shuffling is walking without lifting your feet (also used for shuffling a deck of cards), you probably meant “brushed”.

That said: it often seems like they take us for granted, but you can’t not love the little bastards :D
