What is this even supposed to mean?
It’s a satire on “sex and the city”. By placing it in another era the absurdity of the show (and shows targeted at modern “feminist” women) is highlighted.
Real feminists don’t think about sex (and shoes) almost exclusively.
Wasn’t hedonism kinda the point of sex and the city though?
It certainly sold itself as feminist and forward thinking, but the conservatism of USociety certainly took control of the scripts early on.
Other than the artist (who is a woman) thinks some women don’t make good sufragettes, I’m not sure either.
