Hello!
I share my library with my elderly father. He is totally unable to use Plex with it’s current UI on our TV. Additionally, he cannot see the small text, which often grey on black. Due to the lack of customization and accessibility options for Plex I am looking for alternatives. I’ve been recommended Kodi from someone due to it’s customizable nature, but I’m not sure about accessibility features. I’m looking for something that allows large text with high contrast and a homepage with a simple UI.
Jellyfin is a popular alternative that’s more customizable. Maybe its clients are more accessible?
You’re probably better off using another device (nvidia shield namely) which has accessibility options baked in. Aside from that, no one can really tell you what a given app will look like on a TV you don’t specify.
