Don’t actually do this. You can get your license suspended (or worse) even if you never go back to the town that gave you the ticket.

It depends on the laws in the state/county/city. In the worst case scenario, you could serve jail time. In the best case scenario, you stay away from that town and nothing happens. In the medium case scenario, the municipality sends it to collections where you’ll then be harassed and/or dinged on your credit report.

It depends on the laws in the country, I very much doubt mine are the same as yours

OK but what about that shitty mall that charges for parking and gives private parking tickets?

You inspired me to do a little research on my local shitty mall and it turns out they didn’t get city permission for their little scheme, so all they can do is send you demands for payment, and if you get a bunch of fake tickets in 12 months they can threaten to tow.

Since I go there only a couple of times a year, sounds like I get free parking.

I’d only be worried if they were willing to send it to collections, that can hit your credit. Even a small thing can fuck up your credit

They don’t have your SSN. How are they going to report it?

Even if they learn the registered owner, doesn’t prove who got the “ticket” and unlike a real ticket they can’t hold it over you with the DMV.
