Apparently they only do that when they’re stressed, and watching them fuck stresses them out. What have we done.
So I was stressing the fuck out of the one that was hanging out on the outside of my screen door some nights ago
Fun fact, that actually doesn’t happen as often as people think. Most observations of it are in a lab setting which can be stressful for the insects, leading to a bit of abnormal behavior. It does happen in nature, just not nearly as often.
Totally got laid; worth it!
And she got head

Imagine you are having a great time with someone of the opposite sex and suddenly s/he starts to eat you.
Literally.
How did that behavior even evolve, like what’s the benefit to the species? I’m really curious.
Well, curious enough to ask, not curious enough to actually research…
mama hungy
Yeah, that’s actually a perfect explanation lol
Ladybugs are totally invasive (in the US) by the way. Do us a favor and squish them.
I was gonna say, whoever made this has never dealt with an invasive ladybug swarm in their house before lol
They gave him a baseball hat. lol
I don’t understand the first 2 panels. Are there myths that butterflies cause tornadoes, and ladybugs bring luck?
The butterfly effect refers to chaos theory where all events are interconnected no matter how small, so a butterfly flapping its wings in Tokyo could cause a tornado in the mid-west USA. The lady bug is pure myth about one landing on you bringing good luck, no idea what specific culture/myth that’s based on though.
