This is a cognitohazard
This and the replies here are actually kind of inspiring. I guess I dont work right now and its very stressful because I feel stuck in my parents home, I dont have the power to craft my life the way I like just yet. But if I never had to work? It’d be so cool to just make art about what life feels like. I’d probably try harder at improving the social experience around me, as opposed to being so confident I need to move away in order to ever be important or build wealth.

Its not justo the value of the food. The value of the food is the value that the customer is willing to pay for food, which corresponds with the tip amount they can part with. However everything you’ve recommended is very thoughtful in its own right.
She’s absolutely stunning. Beautiful cat.

There are few solutions.2·2 years agoMy solution has been giving up my dreams of being well-educated, healthy, and socially tactile. I’m a loser now and I’m just hoping to crawl my way back out of this hole I dug rather than sign up for the college loans.

Its only a little bit worse than Netflix st this point, streaming services are so fucking bad.
I actually really liked TV with its carefully timed re-runs, the bit of randomness, the frequent breaks. It was a great way to enjoy TV. Didnt make it too precious. If we had simply stronger rulings on how shit ads could be, I’m sure I would not have cut cable 10 years ago. Damn its not even been 10 years, likez that’s how quickly the situation has devolved.
The only service Ice enjoyed that entire time is YouTube, and thats with about 12 asterisks because if youve watch youtube its with a lot of grips and pains.

What would you even call this? Doomer-fiction? Present day reality fiction but written by someone who is sad and also suspiciously impressed with themselves for thinking up this thing everyone has been thinking about?
However, the talent pool here calls for me to actually see this movie. It better be fucking good! This is gonna be my exception to the rule.

Very abstract concept that I don’t grasp. But yeah we can afford it, we just print money or whatever. Also billions is not a lot of money, and that money was already being allocated to the military budget, and that money was earmarked to help our military industrial complex which it is absolutely doing.

Franzia@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Chinese garlic is a national security risk, says US senatorEnglish231·2 years agoChinese garlic is very obviously being grown indoors in hydroponics/aeroponics or some sort of greenhouse setup - There has never been a speck of dirt on it. The heads are of extremely consistent size. Listen I prefer local garlic because its many times more flavorful, but I keep garlic so long it sprouts as it is. So I buy it at the grocery store year-round.
