A lot of legal immigrants hate illegal immigration. They worked hard to do things the right way and don’t like people trying to cheat the system. Democrats took way too long and let it get way too out of control before taking illegal immigration seriously.

In South Texas you should see how the “established” Hispanic community treats the “new arrivals”. It’s horrific. I have been told the folks who can trace their family back three or four generations don’t see themselves as Hispanic at this point. Joke’s on them, they’re still “Mexican” to Trump.
I know a few illegal immigrants (now lega) that hate illegal immigrants. You get the “oh times were different” story when confronted.
Same way anyone votes for him. Tell yourself that you’re one of the good ones
Because many Hispanics are Catholic, many are very conservative, and most of them hate the cartels. The Democrats took them for granted when they haven’t maintained their relationship with Hispanics for decades.

Noncitizens can’t vote. The only people getting deported are noncitizens. Ergo, none of the people who voted are getting deported.
Methinks a lot of voters there were tired of the illegal immigrants.
