  • I don’t use onions or green peppers.

The real secrets are a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder, and about 4 ounces of red wine. Finely chopped spinach is good too, amps up the nutritional value. Also, at least 3 different beans; I like kidney, black, pink, and red. Then at the end, balance the Cumin and Salt, with some lime juice for some acid.

  • Also, anyone who wants to access government services. Want Medicaid? Work in the fields. Want Social Security? Work in the fields. Want Food Stamps? Work in the fields? Want Medicare? Work in the fields. Etc.

If you already have a couple of jobs, send your children to the fields. It’s not like they’re getting a useful education anyway. Most of it will be MAGA propaganda about how much better it is for kids to work in the fields instead of the classroom, because it keeps the evil foreigners out of our country.

  • I was a 12 year account with nearly one million Karma, when I was permabanned in the post-Inauguration purge, for a comment I had made numerous times without an issue.

We were the people that built Reddit. When I started, nobody had heard of it. When I was “fired,” it was one of the biggest websites in the world. It had become a cesspool of puns, trolls, bots, MAGA dickheads, Russian Propaganda Farmers, novelty accounts, and worse. It was already difficult to navigate to actual comments on some subs. Now that they have permabanned so many highly active active accounts, the problems has worsened significantly.

Lemmy is great, and I can speak more openly, although the mods are a little free with the removal tools. I miss some of the niche subs, like the guitar subs. The guitar community on Reddit is great, and very supportive of players. I wish Lemmy had that.

  • A-fucking-men. These people need to know that just because the scales have fallen from their eyes, we will not be welcoming them back to the ranks of civilized society anytime soon. They may be pissed about this, but we’ve come down a long road of atrocities that they either supported or ignored, and they have a LOT to answer for in that regard. Their enthusiastic dismissal of simple human - and American - decency will not be forgotten, and all MAGAs have a long way to go to redeem themselves, which in many cases will be impossible.

  • I was referring to the castle metaphorically, as if it were any large purchase by a Sociopathic Oligarch. Substitute mansion or yacht for castle.

And we should tax all forms of revenues for the wealthy, including income, investment, capital gains, inheritance, etc.

And we should tax the shit out of churches.

  • No, but that work should be generating profit, and almost every employee should share in a higher percentage of those profits. Those at the top just make sure the profit increases, they don’t actually earn it, yet they get the far higher share. It’s the workers who actually create the profit, and they should be compensated with a much higher percentage of those profits.

Of course, that means lower profits for the company, but if employees are getting fairly compensated, then they will have more buying power, and corporations will make up the difference in lower profit margins with increased sales volume from workers with expendable income.

Sounds like a bunch of lame, unsupported excuses to me. Tax them hard!

And if they want to leave, let them leave. America is the primary market everybody wants. If you want to move your company to avoid paying taxes, go ahead, but your access to the American market will end, and the government will confiscate ALL your American assets. Good luck making the same profit in the rest of the world.

    And tax churches, too.
