Is this an unpopular opinion?
Websites that aren’t updated live themselves; typically news websites and the like.

I’m a simple man, I see a Doubtfire meme, I upvote.
I always saw this as just a way to compete with Google.
Bad comparison. There is no such thing as the ‘Apple Pay app’. Everything is done through the Wallet app, Apple Pay uses the wallet app.
This is somewhat hard to understand; is Yandex Russia different from the parent company like Google and Alphabet?
That’s why I like reeder on Apple devices.
Instead of needing yet another service to subscribe to RSS feeds and have them sync + potentially pay a fee for service, Reeder allows users to subscribe locally and sync it to iCloud across all devices. It was and is a major appeal of the app compared to others in the Apple ecosystem.
Every generation feels this.
I believe the reason that each generation feels this way is the different ways that each generation is exposed to information about current events, wars, etc. and now more than ever with the internet, it’s hard to escape. The internet also makes echo chambers worse than before because not only are they easier to get into, they’re much louder and have more influence.
As for products, companies are focused on user/subscriber growth more than ever instead of having a good product. The idea is essentially “why have a good product people pay for when you can half ass it and get people to pay”.
Am I missing something? I don’t understand the point that is trying to be conveyed (if there is one).
Yep; William Shatner.
lets out sulfur farts all day
If you subscribe to RSS feeds that sometimes due ads in the form of articles (looking at you daringfireball); services like SiftRSS let you use Regex to filter out titles that match (i.e., sponsor, sponsorship) so you only get organic content.
Don’t forget to check your Amazon Alexa privacy settings to disable personalized ads, and for using your Alexa data for ads. Likewise, you can have it to where while Amazon keeps a log of what is said, it won’t save voice recordings.
Thank god! I’ve been a fan since it was announced way back when. For Christmas this year, my sister-in-law bought me “The World of Orville” and the physical collection of the comics, as she knew I bought the digital ones.
I very much look forward to another season!
It definitely is! It has helped me so much with the clusterfuck that is REGEX and figuring out what I did wrong 🙃
Nice! On iOS/iPadOS, I use “StopTheMadness Pro” to set up redirects, and it makes watching YouTube, TikTok, etc. videos that family sends to me so much more bearable!
