Conservatism emphasizes self-reliance, which is a principle I stand firmly behind. We must instill in people the power to depend on themselves, to value the stability and discipline that conservatism preaches. Only through such self-sufficiency can we truly forge a path to freedom and dignity.

I prefer people block them, rather than calling for them to be banned. Conservatives have just as much of a right to be here as liberals.
Because Lemmy very much wants an echo-chamber. Even tho many say they left Reddit to get out of echo-chambers.
I’ve seen lots of posts saying variations of, “I don’t think the Fediverse should allow conservative communites.” lol
I just felt like too many people were linux-nerds and tried to make everyone else feel stupid for not understanding the fediverse concept.

I should clarify and say that I think Lemmy very much wants to erase all conservative content from the fediverse. Which is totally against what the fediverse stands for.
