Uhh, God I hope so, wait, how was this a question?

What’s sad is that after the Soviet Union fell… we decided to go ahead and finish the F-22.
That’s not even overkill, that’s just insulting their mother.
Counter-counterpoint: we have a lot
I’m just going to point out that we made this thing in the 90s to fight an enemy we didn’t expect this thing to do more than mildly wound.
This wasn’t a great wunderwaffen, this was just our version or advanced artillery, and here it is shattering parts of the Russian army at a stroke.
The greatest generation would be so confused.
I’m going to need more bullets.
It’s not that, it was nvidia almost buying arm which scared everyone shitless.
Dune had no good guys, none at all.
Everyone was out for themselves or their narrow view of what was just and best for humanity from their simplistic and self-centered perspective.
Leto 2 was the exception because he was out for his narrow view of what was best for humanity from his broad, self-centered perspective that still didn’t really lead anywhere.
The actual point of the books is that no ideal survives the test of real time, and over time civilization tends to ossify, so we are doomed to catastrophe by our very nature.
There are a few, seriously, a few just excellent episodes, 1 of which is in s3 iirc.
The early episode about the battle of witchhead, harper 2.0, and the s3 episode with the first officer rhade, all solid.
But otherwise, wow, totally unwatchable. Maybe I’ve missed an episode or 2, I think there was one with the ships breaking out of a prison, but so damn many unwatchable episodes I feel bad for most of the cast.
God damnit…
I didn’t even know he was sick.
