Usually games as a service, they’ll release a large patch or expansion that makes significant, unpopular, changes. So lots of long time fans will review bomb it, in a good way, to show their displeasure.

I recall saying something like “the function ‘draw_card’ doesn’t mutate the deck variable” and it goes “I’m sorry, you’re correct. I’ll fix it to mutate the deck variable” and it returns the same code but changes the the card variable inside function to be called “mutate_the_deck”.

I tried to get it to build a basic module that built a playing deck of cards. At first it looked OK, the basic layout made sense, but then I realised it called functions that weren’t there, some functions were just empty, since logic was wrong and actually it was all around terrible.

I tried to fix it with prompts and it got worse or implemented my suggestions incorrectly and was still broken.

Ultimately it took a lot longer to get no where than if I’d just written it by myself. But I could see how someone with not much knowledge in the area could see the output and be impressed.

Not just hours. Like 80 hour weeks to get to that rank.

My work, and many others in my area, have well being days. As well as sick days and annual leave.

You can take a well being day at any time for any reason. The main intent is that it’s a mental health day essentially. So we can call in sad, but you don’t have to say “I’m not coming in cause I’m sad”.

I agree in general, but I guess if you’re talking specifically about how some people feel like they shouldn’t be able to be drafted, I’d argue it’s less an issue than the idea of drafting in general.

I understand the logic of doing the streak system, keep you engaged by threatening to lose your streak if you don’t do it every day, but it’s a double edged sword.

If I’d lost my streak though… I should just go “oh well” and call it a day/quit.

I deleted the app when they said they were going to fire translators for AI. But I have adhd and forgot, several days, even with reminders, to do it some days… It never ended up mattering because they let me keep my streak anyway
