Not that I can tell, this is what shows up in the logs of just one of the hack or scan attempts.

It’s more like an inbound connection that is triggering the alert.
No, I don’t have any ports forwarded to my PC from the internet as far as I’m aware.
This is probably why it is usually a good idea to label your bottles or containers with names like salt, sugar, baking soda, flour, etc.
Not sure what anecdote is, but I’m actually quite upset about these shenanigans the companies that produce the current flat screen stuff they allow to happen in the first place.
Maybe someone will get the idea to start !dumbtvsarewanted@lemmy.world for that and it could end up going as far as being dedicated to find, repair and exchange CRT TV as well.
And then someone gets the idea to find a way to play a VHS instead and be like “Let’s see you read that, you fucking spying idiots!”
It will still be connected to the Internet via the HDMI cord.
More like everything will be in a landfill before you allow it to send 1s and 0s through anything but the HDMI cord.
Sounds like the next conference you are going to have in that room is with the Supervisor or the CEO about either downgrading that shit and have everything wired instead, or physically ripping out the antenna is going to happen.
And then find out you are in Triangulum, the Galaxy known as M33, and wonder how the hell did you end up two million seven hundred thousand light years away.
If you rather go blind than trusting any digital maps, then the only other option is going back to old fashion paper maps that existed before Google Maps was a thing.
And then you see the route trajectory making you turn into a river to flood your vehicle, or worse, have you turn onto a beach because the route trajectory goes right into the ocean like it thinks you are driving some sort of boat mobile.
Or why build a radio into a TV to listen to music when the stereo system is already during that job?
Well then, just hope that your neighbor doesn’t turn around to pair into your device and blast porn at full volume on your TV, get you pissed off as to WTF you can’t turn it off, end up throwing the whole thing into the Recycle Bin, and look into some kind of CRT TV that can’t be f***ed with like you are also pissed off with the current company that produces the current flat screen stuff.
Just to let everyone know, I’m listening to comments to this and still waiting to see if get new comments, especially about my community ideas that I’m thinking about based from how I have been feeling here. I’m currently feeling like the community would be like a peaceful place in the eucalyptus woods surrounded by koalas in the trees, where this a mixture of discussion on environmental and woodlands conservation, certain technology that may be concerning and what is happening to it, stuff from as far back as the 80s, 90s, and 00s that would still be useful and would still like to see around today, stuff being depreciated and obsolete that maybe shouldn’t be depreciated and obsolete, such as stuff in the POV of someone who is like a Luddite or an Amish person even though I’m not actually like those, I just have another was of thinking to discuss about and seeing stuff at a different point of view that seems much safer than seeing people blow each other up. I also feel that such a community would give people a relaxing atmosphere as well and I might even create a Discord Server for it at some point. Please let me know what you think of all of this, thanks.
It appears the app is only in the Google Play Store for anyone who is using an Android device, not in the Microsoft Store for those running Windows Something on their computer.
I have started checking that site out and it seems very good. I’m currently trying Primeval Forest, even though the water stream in it sounds more like a raging waterfall than a trickling water.
As for your community-idea: I’m the wrong one to advice anything.
And yeah, I prefer to speak to the right one to advice anything regarding my community-idea(s).
Well, I just went through some online instructions to setup an inbound rule in Windows Defender Firewall that is a list of IPs to have it block, hoping that will solve this ongoing problem I was having.
