I agree that Songs for the deaf is QOTSA’s magnum opus, but majority of their other albums are bangers too and it feels unfair to say they fell off after it

Maybe it’ll be good and healthy to start again from fresh, get the old feeling again. We just gotta build up that initial content now to grow the appeal to newcomers

I think it was there for a while, it’s just gone full mask off mode and become particularly noticeable now
