Intelligent Speed Assistance is great, went to Spain a few years back and essentially the car would know the limit of each road and give you a little signal/sound each time you went over. Great feature tbh, took about a day to get used to it at first but after that it was smooth sailing.
I wish cars would get speed limiters installed. Trucks and trailers especially, why does a truck try and overtake a car anyway? Or another truck?
Why stop only at e-bikes? Get them installed inside mobility scooters as well, slow down Grandma! /s
This right here unfortunately, the glue will cost more if you only use the glue once. We live in a world where items are easier/cheaper to throw out then repair.
Though I guess the cheapest thing you could do is drill a hole on the backside with a drill and put a screw through it. Only a short screw that goes into the cylinder/shaft.
Also fyi, most plastics from the dollar store are not guaranteed to be toxic free. You may find most of these plastics melt on pans with use over time and might end up being consumed. Usually what I opt for is metal on a metal pan or silicon cooking utensils that don’t seem to melt or loose peices of them in what I am cooking.

Interesting, that somewhat sounds like the pain I had with the og google assistant where I asked it to turn something on and it would just proceed to either turn it off or tell me something different entirely. Though that only started happening to me more over the end of last year where I guess google was just trying to kill it.
For Gemini I installed the standalone app that’s independent of the Google assistant branded app (Gemini was/is still not available inside the assistant app here).
I have been having more success with it where I can ask it longer commands, such as “turn off kitchen lights with hallway lights, and turn on living room lights with the living room shield”.
This kind of command would pretty much end with a “I do not understand” on og google assistant even with a turn of two lights command.
Home control is pretty much the only thing I use Gemini/Google Assistant for. I have been slowly trying to make the switch to a fully local voice with Home Assistant.
Odd I seem to be able to control all my IOT devices no problem so far from Gemini with voice commands over the phone. This includes all smart switches, lights, thermostats, and so on in my house

Correct, as auto-fill is based on the exact URL address. Though if a phishing site somehow managed to spoof that address, your auto-fill may give away some sensitive info before you catch it. Though this makes no difference if you enter it manually on a phishing website and press enter.
Here is another way auto-fill in some cases on legitimate sites can pull extra information from your auto-fill with invisible auto-fill boxes on webpages.
Some phishing websites can call on auto-fill to grab your passwords while presenting themselves as real websites.
This means a phishing link in an email that is supposed to take you to your gmail login page (as a example) may actually be a fake page that just captured your password. And because the link was sent to your email the attacker already has your email. The worst part is you may not have noticed your password was just “taken”.
Not sure exactly what companies store these frozen embryos, but if the company closes or you pass. How are the embryos disposed of?
Does the company need to keep them frozen and alive indefinitely? Or is it murder if they are terminated by the company? What happens if the freezers/cooler breaks? Who is responsible for the now classified murder?
Also, unrelated, but this seems to be a problem no one is noticing. Most “arterial roads” in cities and surrounding areas are for the lack of a better word “disappearing”.
Arterial roads are two lane roads in both directions, they have no driveways in/off them and no traffic lights/signals. They allow higher speed travel compared to city streets, or a suburban street, but are slower then a hwy thought the concept is similar.
Most of these higher speed roads are being turned into “strodes” that are neither a street nor a road. This means multiple traffic lights and intersections, as well as driveways on/off the road (similar to a suburban street with driveways on the left/right).
This IMO increases the amount of time you may spend in your car driving from one side of a city to another, thus increasing fuel consumption while idling at lights. It also means more “conflict areas” between the users of the “stroad”, such as pedestrians/specialists/transit.
What we need is a complete reclassification of our roadways, as I guarantee if you thing of a street or a road or a avenue they may all look the same in our minds.
Have you noticed how since the implication of stringer file efficiency on automakers cars have been getting larger and heavier?

IMO file efficiency standards should still remain in place, but a rework of the policies is needed.
Less about what comes in the box and more about what you get over the years sounds like most video games now.

To add to this topic a little. (I posted about this in one of my posts talking about urban decline in north america cities).
North america cities and urban centers are not “family focused”. Instead we have a urban sprawl issues, where as families grow in size they are forced (with limited choice) to move into a single family home outside of urban centers.
This then creates a feed back loop into more mothers and fathers now having to commute back into cities where they work, causing more traffic and potentially dangerous roads and streets in said cities.
This issues IMO is deeply rooted in what’s know in the “missing middle” of housing. This all boils down to poor zoning choices by cities and governments. North america housing usually only comes down to two choices, a condo unit, or a single family home.
Have you even noticed how if you are looking for a three bedroom unit for your family in an urban center it’s usually impossible to find? Or how a single family home in the suburbs is more competitively priced with a larger square footage compared?
