Almost 60 something, I mostly browse by subscribed or local and still get content.
Just your normal everyday casual software dev. Nothing to see here.
Almost 60 something, I mostly browse by subscribed or local and still get content.
I do, the issue is I’m the ONLY one who does. My mom raised me to take shoes off indoors but I’m not sure where she learned it from because nobody else in the family does.
I gave up keeping the floor clean, I’m the only one that cleaned in the house, any complaints about the dirt on the floor was met with “well you should be wearing shoes”, any attempt at cleaning the clutter is met with the other household members stressed out because things changed. I take any W I can, but it’s defo a learn to get used to it type of situation at least in my case, and dirt isn’t going to go away sadly.
I had to start wearing slippers so I didn’t feel the dirt and it stopped getting in my sheets, that might help you avoid noticing it as much if you don’t already do so
I’m surprised something like this was even allowed to be patented. That’s a super broad category. I thought you could only patent actual systems and not the theory on how that system works
you already can buy twitch gift cards and they can be used for subs and bit purchases, the issue is getting that currency over to the explicit version of the site without getting the providers in a tizzy. The bottom line is they don’t want to be associated with content like that, so if they learn that it can be bought and then used for it they’ll threaten to pull the plug. They could try to use a different payment system with a vendor that has a higher broker fee but, there aren’t many out there, there’s a reason that VISA is seen everywhere.
you are thinking of points, partners have channel points(that they can name whatever) that you earn as you watch them. those can be used for channel redemption. Bits are paid for currency that lets you do different things per streamer depending on what they have setup.
I heard a big issue with this is usually payment providers, Visa being a big one that has blocked processing based off nudity before. If they did do it like this, they would keep their income on the main site but, they likely would lose the ability to have income sources outside of advertising (the ones that still will) on the nude friendly version. At that point they likely just would just drop the service anyway cause it wouldn’t be profitable for them.
The fact that this is not her first time border-lining the policy, at some point they are just going to drop the hammer (again). They are hesitant on it though cause, big viewers and creators lead to big income sources, but eventually the powers that may be that are higher then twitch are going to give a nudge.
I don’t think this will ever die down, look at porn sites, those are still going strong to the point that blocking access to them causes political problems.
Twitch is only against this because a good portion of their user-base (and more importantly advertising companies/investors) don’t want to be part of that.
I didn’t know that the game still was running, it’s basically non-existent up here. Must be super popular in the populated areas still.
I mean i have a Bsky account, I don’t really use the platform since it doesn’t seem all that active in comparison to others available.
From my understanding they created it as a escape from the changes they disliked on twitter, but like in my opinion the privacy settings on it are far too simplistic to be able to function properly as a service. I find myself checking basically every other service instead.
the switch 2 IMO needs a power upgrade for sure, my switch 1 struggled to actually play higher ended games, and the actual graphic quality on those games wern’t bad but not the great either.
That being said, I decided recently that Nintendon’t is a company that doesn’t need my money, between the actively hostile acts to its fan generated content with the shut down of third party non-profit games, it’s prosecution of Gary Bowser(which was the extent of charging a sales associate for the entire companies fraud) and it’s downright abusive treatment of the right to repair and archival/emulation communities. They are basically the Apple of the game development world. I won’t spend money on their stuff anymore.
how did we end up in a reality where people are actively defending a 70$ release priced game that is single player AND has micro-transactions. A game like this should be thrown into the garbage and everyone should be unified on that. Like it being single player ALONE should make it so it doesn’t have MT’s but it has both SP and a 70$ price point?
hot tamales and atomic fireballs are the same way, it used to be really hot, now it’s similar to just sweet. same with sour skittles, those used to make you bleed but not anymore, it’s more sweet then sour
this is like years too late, I’m not going to mcdonalds for ice cream anymore, especially not now that it’s almost 6$ for a mcflurry. l can spend that much buying M&M’s and the ice cream myself and grt more than one serving for it
Yes they would, that is why I am for UBI however not without harsh restrictions on rental or mortgage costs in regards to the UBI. I’m not concerned for normal prices but, I know rental and housing costs will rise in comparison. Needs restrictions before implementation
yea looking at wyoming I can see there is defo a lack of EV stations, it looks like for southern wyoming the longest stretch is between rock springs and Lareme, but that’s mostly if you lack the ability to use super chargers. I can see how it would be a pain to use an EV in that case, doable but it would stretch it a little further than i would be comfortable with as well. That being said you would never catch me driving 3 hours one way to visit someone anyway lmao
thankfully it lets me know what studios to avoid unless it becomes an internet sensation, but I think the AAA/AA studio thing is something the studios started with.
I see it the exact opposite, I actively avoid organizations that obnoxiously reach out requesting donation via register and cold calling. If I value the charity I donate but the second it starts being annoying I cease donation period. Even moreso the retail store sponsored ones
combined with
does not look good for them, especially considering that they sold the rights to NASCAR (which means that at the end of the year they won’t have the ability to sell content related to it). Without some pretty big changes I don’t see them lasting much longer, I’m surprised I didn’t think they were in that bad of shape.
