“Fall of 20xx” is when Apple usually releases new versions of iOS, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that iOS18 will be the release.

I’d like to see a Quake2 reboot myself, like what was done with Doom & Wolfenstein.
This seems a lot more rational than some other closings where you hear about hundreds closing. Closing a few, but possibly replacing some of them with their smaller stores. Sound much more proactive than some closings we hear about.
Most of the time ios’s location service uses wifi access points. I was able to look like I was in maine using the mac address and ssid of a wifi router there. As easy as that sounds, if there are a lot of routers around you would probably have to block them out.
Another option is seizures from strobing lights. See a doctor.
From what I garnered this is revenue, not profit. Also comparing the companies to Apple, FB & Microsoft is not really a fair comparison. I know it was the Valve employees doing this. Probably a better choice would have been something like a restaurant chain or store like Walmart.
I am not really sure what ATSC3.0 brings that 1.0 doesn’t have besides the codec features. I doubt it adds much on the bandwidth side.
Assuming the chips have a 32bit bus and are 2GB, that would be a 32GB 5090. Probably less on the lower models.
Shouldn’t the math be degrees over ambient? So 22C would be (56C - 48C)/56C = 14%. Seems like marketable market speak.
I think that is debris. I tried using some 3-in-1 oil on 3 of mine and they work fine now. There is probably a better choice of lubricant though
I like this and for what it will likely cost I’d hope would have it. Other than scratches, dust, oils from touching, light and other contaminates are the biggest threat to longevity.
The leds can work for like 20 years. On the other hand the rest of the components are not necessarily going to last that long unfortunately.
The last like 3 computer cases have had blue power leds. They often are brighter than night lights. I have gotten to the point where I only connect the power button as the leds are so bright and the number of times I’ve inadvertently hit the reset button.
I would be willing to pay more as they are subsidizing the cost with the advertising. I have seen computer monitors are coming with ‘smart’ functionality now. Don’t want that.
So the moral is use Firefox and not Chrome?!
IDK, I’ve heard that MSFS can get pretty big once you start installing everything plus the cached imagery. Relatively quickly I found a post from someone that was using over 700GB and I assume that doesn’t include the dynamic cached map/scenery.
Did you happen to run it with different versions of proton? Each version would possibly be identified as a different “system”.
Which is according to google translate means She-Wolf in french. I think that would have been funnier it is a word I could find.
This kind of “self driving” shouldn’t even be legal. Giving a driver a explicit reason not to pay attention but still instructing them and expecting them to pay attention is a recipe for disaster. I don’t know whose bright idea that was, maybe an accident lawyer, but it has been quite deadly.
For most consumers it doesn’t matter. What will is “Why does program X run so slow when program Y is fast?”. That can be solved with marketing, like calling the ARM version of Windows “Windows M 11” or something like that. Programs optimized for “Windows 11 M” will run faster and older windows 11 programs will run, but slower. Explaining that will be key to whether Arm windows will succeed.
Most users though use a small subset of programs. Like web browser, email, light office and some media consumption. Should work well enough for them.
