I realized a long time ago that music “sucked” because I would never open myself up to it and genuinely allow myself to find value in it.

It’s like my dad who has just decided that all rap sucks even though he has basically zero experience with it. I said the same thing until I was around 21 and almost missed all the really, really good stuff. Tai Verdes’ album “TV” is incredibly musical, for example.

Conservatives love telling people that winning or losing is a personal failure, and hate government interference, but also love to make life as easy as possible for large corps.

They clearly understand that regulation works, and that governments working to stabilize a country can be really powerful, and then they go and do entirely the wrong shit about while swearing that regulation is evil and governments are evil. It’s all just feelings and whatever they hear first/whatever is oversimplified and yelled.

It’s important to remember that even if a company did that and the customers who said they wanted it all went and bought one it would still likely be a tremendous waste of the manufacturer’s money. And then there are all the people that say it’s important to them while they only use it to point at while shouting at iPhone users despite not using their phones any differently.

Oddly enough, no one benefits! Except the egos of the middle managers and people who are so stuck in the dark ages they don’t think people get work done unless they’re being watched.

What makes it bad, for those of us unaware?

Some people also probably deliver their trash to the dump themselves, and we can wait a week for the next pickup date without dying, but the assumption of regular garbage collection is still very important. But they’re mostly making the point that those companies are doing a lot of work to try to tell people that oil is perfectly safe when they know otherwise, discredit competition, and then reap rewards while people have to live in a world where “choice” is largely just which gas station you go to.
