I replaced the main battery in a Gen1 Prius. Fiddly. Had to get a strong buddy to help lift it in and out of the car, but we did it in a long weekend. A full set of ‘used but tested’ cells cost something like $750 but that was probably 8 years ago.

Rip your inbox…
This is like those horrible choice “would you rather” questions. Eat the hot dog, or drink the alcohol.
Played for a couple years but it got tiresome. It’s still on my phone but I haven’t launched it in at least a year.
There better be. Charcoal is semi-burnt wood. Coal is effectively ‘solid’ oil. Cooking with regular coal would be horrible.
I had a roommate in college whose mom would smoke 2-3 packs a day. She’d light a new one off of the dying ember of the last one. Chain smoker.
Heck, Ivermectin is good for you… if you have parasites. Does nothing for Covid tho.
I’m wondering who defines “luxury items”. I’d currently put a trip to the dentist and a car with under 120k miles in the luxury category.
Yeah, 10 years is too short. 18 sounds pretty good. I’d also want to give them a full retirement. Ostensibly, they’d be less likely to sell influence.
The BIG unintended consequence here is that this makes starting a new party just to leech off the government a big target. Who cares if you never get anyone elected, so long as you can have government paid salaries and airtime.
Great! Please make sure that your server system is un-racked and physically present in court for cross examination.
I see you also have a toddler.
They’re pretty bad. Putting your hands down in a hole and spraying water all over isn’t real sanitary. I’ve seen some that are really dirty inside!
Not to mention the doors and corners…
Yeah, maybe something like one company that could aggregate all of the separate services into one subscription. They could use a collective bargaining strategy to keep the price of each subscription down. Maybe they could even bundle together the actual physical hardware and maintain the infrastructure required to get the signals to us as well!
Clicking makes my app spin for a second then does nothing.
You want an honest answer?
No. No I don’t.
I comment and share links at about the same rate as I did when I was primarily on Reddit. I’m less interested in Reddit these days and probably split my time 50-50. I’m pissed at what they did and continue to do, and the quality of the content has clearly taken a hit across the broader Reddit community but it’s still SO MUCH BIGGER than the entire fediverse that there is hundreds if not thousands of times the people and content.
I’ve tried to get a couple of groups off the ground, but I’m just not that guy and wasn’t on Reddit either.
I am not commenting on Reddit much anymore tho, due to the aforementioned behavior by Spez et al.
Actually the low cost part of this was that they weren’t upgraded cells. Just tested-good cells from other battery packs. Most of the time it’s just a couple cells in the bigger battery that have issues, and they take those out of the pool and make a good amount of $$$ because we were required to send back all of our cells. Assuming that of the 26 (iirc) cells that 3 or 4 were bad that’s a big profit margin for sure. The car worked great after swapping them out.
