  • It’s almost like teachers have developed new ways to teach that are different but maybe a more effective way for kids to learn.

People always get so weird about newer math teaching techniques. I get that it’s new and doesn’t make sense to us because it’s not how we learned, but the kneejerk reaction of “this is obviously worse than how I learned” without any understanding of the method or why it might teach better fundamentals is… Silly

  • Well you didn’t mention The Good Place, but from your username I assume you’ve watched it :) .

Ted Lasso is really great throughout and has a really positive viewpoint while still dealing with tough subjects.

Starstruck (you’ll recognize Rose Matefeo) is a great lightish comedy.

    Crazy ex girlfriend

    Santa Clarita diet

For animated stuff, these are all top-tier:

    • Over the Garden Wall
    • Gravity Falls
    • Steven Universe
    • Avatar The Last Airbender
    • Legend of Korra

Boss/enemy healing isn’t bad game design. There are a lot of very valid reasons that lead to more interesting interactions.

    • A boss with slow health regen might require players to try to burst the boss down through weakpoints or debuffs

    • A boss entering a second phase and getting their health back creates a cool “oh shit” moment and really emphasizes their power

    • A boss that has an interuptable or preventable heal adds an interesting challenge and requires players to do more than just DPSing them down
