Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Whats the best voice acting in any video game?
13·14 days agoI was very impressed by Cherami Leigh in Cyberpunk 2077. She sent shivers down my spine.
Of course there is Roger Craig Smith from AC II, but I also enjoyed Noah Watts (III) and Steven Piovesan (Rogue).
Dominic Armato (Guybrush Threepwood) is an all time favourite of mine.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•what country would you never go to again?
62·18 days agoAgain? UK. I’ve always travelled via the UK to / from Ireland to / from Germany since I don’t fly. Now with Labour it’s even worse compared to the shitshow Tories before being a queer person and next time I’ll travel via France. I’m still going to Northern Ireland, but that’s a big exception since Belfast feels like my 2nd home.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When does hating religious people start to make you a bigot.
161·29 days agoI consider myself anti-religious, but I don’t knock at your door at fucking 7:30 in the morning asking if you’d like to talk about atheism. I don’t creep around public places handling out pamphlets promoting atheism. I don’t deny people their rights to be moronic simpletons who can’t think for themselves. I do, however, say ‘go jump in a lake’ to religious people whenever they bother me.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When does hating religious people start to make you a bigot.
225·29 days agoI consider every form of religion to be highly dangerous and I think every religious person is delusional, irrational and illogical, to say the least. I simply avoid them like the plague and mind my own business. It’s a massive dealbreaker for any personal relationship with me. Nope, thanks. I don’t need that in my life.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some small inconstancies in your body that makes you unique?
4·1 month agoI can bend the top part of my thumbs 90 degrees backwards. It freaks people out when I do it. It doesn’t feel odd or anything.
It turned out really well because my band mate and I produced all songs in a fairly short amount of time and thus the style of each song went well with all the others. It was more indie, too. The next album was released via a well known label and they kept pestering us with changes they wanted us to do. It felt too mainstream for me to be happy with the result.
Recording my third music album in Berlin and it turned out to be the best of all records I have done so far in my life.
Never deal with people who are religious or ‘spiritual’. They are all delusional and batshit insane. Turn around, walk away, never look back.
100 % salmon. Unfortunately one of my neighbours painted their entire house like that and it pisses me off every day walking my dog.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do gender roles have a stranglehold on heterosexual relationships, or does social media just make it feel that way?
6·1 month agoI know a bunch of people in happy cis-hetero relationships where there is no bs going on with traditional gender role expectations. A dear friend of mine is a super sweet, sensitive and emotionally open cis-lad. He and his wife are very happy together. He’s got pink hair, dresses pretty funky and is super adorable while his wife is more on the butch side with a healthy ‘let’s do this’ hands on mentality and a nice casual look. That’s just one exampel. Almost all my hetero lady friends go for emotionally open and cute lads. Just be yourself, find the right person to date and be happy together.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Where'd all the straight-edge people go?
15·1 month agoI used to be straight edge (or queer edge?), but gave up a few years ago. I need my vices just so I don’t feel dead inside 24/7.

621·2 months agoI’m queer and once had a date with a black woman from the States while living in Dublin, Ireland. She asked me if I could be her local tourist guide. Sure thing!
Walked her all across the shitty overpriced city centre. At some point she asked me:
“Am I the only black person around here?”
Eventually decided to ditch the CC and take a taxi to my local area.
Waltzed into my regular pub holding hands, cuddeling.
The entire place filled with white cis locals went dead silent like in a bad cliche movie.
“Harry, two pints of the black stuff, will ye?”
Peeps realised that at least I was a local and continued minding their own business.
Jeez…

Almost every episode of Freakazoid ticks that box for me.
