I’ve heard that you can watch that movie in a loop starting at any point and it doesn’t make any more or less sense than starting at the beginning.
I don’t have a webcam. And I didn’t have a functioning microphone for several years until recently.
I mean, it’s not usual to find more modern books at a thrift store. Yeah a lot of them are old, but newer ones are there.
Even among the old ones there are some that are sought after, like Betty Crocker’s Cooky Book. Best snickerdoodles of my life.
I found the setting for showing a user’s instance, but still no setting for showing the instance of communities.
On Android, former Relay for Reddit user.
Right now I have SEVEN lemmy apps on my home screen as I figure out which I like best. So far I keep going back to Sync the most.
Boost’s animations suck. It takes too long to show the post list after swiping away an image and the whole screen goes black, it’s a bit jarring.
Liftoff works well but it’s ugly.
Jerboa isn’t very customizable and the post list doesn’t feel dense enough.
Voyager literally does not tell you what instance the community you’re viewing is on.
I haven’t touched Thunder in a while but I see they’ve updated quite a bit with a lot more customization. I remember older versions being nice, so I’ll give it a try again.
Connect is about the same as Liftoff, works well but kinda ugly. Admittedly not as ugly though.
Most pawn shops deal primarily with guns, tools, and jewelry. You’ll also find all kinds of electronics and collectibles, some places may have furniture too.
Porcelain usually isn’t glazed and is made from a finer particulate clay allowing it to be smooth and non porous on its own. It’s the cheaper ceramics that rely on the glaze to be water proof that are prone to this problem.
If your dishes aren’t getting unusually hot in the microwave then they’re fine.
If the glaze on a ceramic plate has micro cracks on it, it can cause water to get inside the plate, which then gets hot in the microwave. Throw it away, it can grow bacteria.
Except the carbon footprint of Starlink is estimated to be 30x greater than terrestrial alternatives.
More than half of all satellites in space are already Starlink at around 5,000, with 12,000 planned in the near future and up to 42,000 as a later expansion.
It’s just not sustainable.
