Funny you compared the atmosphere to Night in the Woods, the same sound designer did both games.

I think we’re about 8ft? I’ve heard there’s no minimum really. Basically you don’t want to have to physically turn your head to see either side… But beyond that the closer you are the better you see the picture.
Aiui the distance thing was more back in the day where if you sat too close you’d notice pixels. But with modern resolutions that’s not a problem anymore.
If you’re patient and can go over budget, an OLED might not be totally out of reach. I snagged a 77” OLED for ~1600 USD earlier this summer (refurb from third party reseller). You might be able to find one close to your budget if you drop down the size a bit.
Soon we’ll be able to remove peoples clothes in real time. Truly the future we all aspired to.
Terrorism is when the weak strike against the powerful. Oppression is when the powerful strike against the weak. Both are deplorable, but the latter is much more insidious due to the target population’s inability to stand up for itself.
So it’s very rich to hear you lecture others on not knowing their history, when you apparently just ignore the over half a century of oppression that led to these acts of terrorism in the first place.
You also say all Palestinians are undeserving of sympathy, because of these acts of terrorism. Is that because you think all Palestinians are terrorists? Or just because you think Palestinians are subhuman and undeserving of sympathy by default? Either way, there’s a word for that, it’s called being a bigot.
Aww, lay off Jonathan. He’s a pioneer for gay rights, which is much more than can be said for any of you lot.
Due to his advanced age, Jonathan spends his days doing almost everything with his mate, including eating, sleeping and mating… The sex of Frederica, … his companion since 1991, was cast into doubt in 2017 when island veterinarian Catherine Man indicated that due to a deformity of its plastron its sex could not be verified,[4] and is now known to be male, being renamed Frederik.
Yes I understand. It works spelled that way. But “no pun intended” doesn’t work because there was no pun in the initial setup. In my version both meanings make sense
I always thought that joke needs an actual pun in the first half so the “no pun intended” has a valid double meaning. I came up with:
I told the sad ghost ten puns to raise its spirits. No pun intendid.
Funny you mention Ladybird… It’s a commendable project and I hope they succeed. But until it renders 99% of websites, plays Netflix videos, has all the modern features people expect of a web browser and is an actual viable option for non techies… It is really proving the opposite of your point. The fact that an alpha is still years away speaks to how hard this really is.
Begged me to shit in it. I feel like enough of a monster as is.
Cool makes sense, thanks for the reply! And yeah, I don’t think I’m quite there yet.
Out of curiosity, what’s the benefit of splitting those?
I’ve been meaning to try Caddy, but I just can’t even imagine something simpler than NginxProxyManager.
You’re absolutely correct.
Some folks here just want to ban ads outright, but don’t stop to think what that would mean. The one that frightens me is what happens to the already crumbling news industry when they additionally lose all advertising revenue? And don’t say subscriptions, because those won’t come close to cutting it. Maybe a couple outlets like the Times could survive, but all the others are going under.
From the post:
Whether it’s a local or a cloud-based model, if you want to use AI, we think you should have the freedom to use (or not use) the tools that best suit your needs
For that use case, go syncthing. Nextcloud would be overkill. I run both, I use syncthing for my personal files and Nextcloud when they should be shared with others.
Certain events like marathon swimming and triathlon can’t be done in a pool.
It’s a fantastic idea in principle. We’ve just neglected the most important ingredient: oversight
Percentage wise, I’m sure support is very high. But for a petition like this, I’d be shocked if even 0.01% percent of people have even heard of it.
Personally, I support the petition (obviously) and wish it could have succeeded. But even I think that in the grand scheme of all the problems in the world, this is very far down my wishlist.
