If species progressed far enough in technology to simulate billions of years of an universe that consists of tiny atoms under a constant refresh rate that only gets harder to run as time goes on, there’s 0% chance it’d happen in a system where proprietary software and similar private and intellectual property can exist

It isn’t, fascism is a defense mechanism of capitalists when their system meets an existential crisis (eg worker militancy) and liberal democracy is no longer capable of maintaining class domination.
Great manning of leaders, nationalism and so on is just liberalism, though more of a superfluous aesthetic rather than core ideological tenet
It isn’t a defining fascism feature of fascism, as it can apply to populism, dictatorships and whatever else that features great manning of leaders. Hell, even democrat candidates, given the “political culture” of US have cults of personality form around them.
Fascism is when president orders to put posters of themselves
Posadism speech bubble
French method is how we got in the situation we are in, it literally led us from the rule of aristocrats to rule of capitalists
It’s more of a critique of the “just do something” culture. Killing one farmer will just result in that farmer getting replaced with an identical cog in the machine, it also won’t magically inspire all the sheep to kill their oppressors as seen historically with humans - that kind of thing is only found within books.
Pretty much the only kind of effective action if the goal is to change things rather than merely feel good in the moment is organization, but it is a slow, tedious and dangerous process - it’s not something that can be achieved immediately or individually.
Then the sheep mounts a resistance by doing the best it can (killing the farmer or shouting very loudly), see that whatever it has done hasn’t changed anything and that nobody is joining or paying attention to it, and then it’s an express ticket to meatpacking plant or worse.
Mounting a resistance is much harder than “just doing something”
Sorry, whenever inflation gets mentioned the maggots in my brain force me to make a sonic inflation joke
When Capitalism was being theorized, a guy name Sonic Smith had discovered that over time as more money is minted, it loses value, and thus inflation. Thus, when it came time to implement capitalism, it became the 34th rule of capital that was defined.

Right isn’t as unified as you might think. There’s plenty of right on right violence, especially when a channel that operates under the veneer of enlightenment or “smarts” does something that goes against it, like recent JP Jubilee appearance.
Left is also a very wide umbrella, not some team, so when someone is being idiotic, giving flack and “infighting” is good.
Congratulations, you’ve written probably the most hitlerite comment I’ve seen on Lemmy so far, and I’m genuinely concerned.
Instead of investigating what makes people act this way in terms of material conditions, incentives and values that are promoted, maybe the way power is organized and how it leads to inevitable opportunism or this being an inevitability of a class dictatorship that we have now, you instead go for the “undesirables” angle.
People didn’t vote for the candidate you wanted because they were irredeemably evil. What do we do, kill all MAGA voters now for having the wrong human archetype? Prohibit them from voting? That only seems the natural conclusion from everything you wrote.
It’s easy to blame Russia and China, but it’s not really that. It’s clear that this is a symptom that something is wrong, and that is stagnating or worsening living conditions, unhappiness with how society operates and people hearing that turn to reaction.
Left doesn’t have an answer given how marginalized they are, all you get are center-lib parties that pretend everything is okay or that focus on liberal middle class issues. It’s no surprise
Nobody asked for one, but I got a pretty good explanation for why this is what why this is happening.
ML’s on lemmy are predominantly of the “deprogram” variety (in reference to the deprogram podcast and r/thedeprogram being quite large on reddit), and generally they’re a laughing stock given the narratives they parrot that are so de-attached from the material reality and their various mannerisms when it comes to arguing. One of the larger narratives is that the west and western imperialism is horrible (which is true), and that whoever is opposed to it must be a force for good or something, which manifests as uncritical support for China, Russia, Iran even though they’re both imperialist bourgeoisie states too.
I see some people claim that they’re some paid Russian shills, which is wrong. They do it for free, with a genuine belief because that’s what their community says and does.
I find it funny how this question is being asked on Lemmy of all places, where the definition of fascism has been completely lost (essentially now being some vague notion of right-wing evil)
