There are zero orphanages in any American city, for instance. Not strange at all. Orphanages are kind of an archaic and disused way to handle the case of orphaned children - modern societies use a foster system, instead. Gazans simply don’t care so they make no provision at all if the family doesn’t step up, so they don’t run orphanages either.

Yes, civilian casualties are a sad reality of war. Currently the best estimate is 1.3 civilians for every Hamas fighter, which is considerably better than the US Army achieved in Fallujah (7:1).

Well, I certainly don’t. I justify the actions of Israel because they’re achieving real military objectives in a war of survival they didn’t start while acting with the utmost restraint with regards to the civilian population of Gaza.

Unfortunately it’s a political problem - your bank has regulatory requirements meant to make money laundering difficult. These requirements mean they need an address at which you can be sued or arrested or they’ll be fined for doing business with you.

About all you can do is vote for candidates who promise to make banking more accessible and private by making it easier for criminals to launder money. It’s a world of trade-offs!
