Just yesterday I wanted to disable sound devices. The button in the settings app even says „turn devices on/off“, but once inside the menu, there is no option to enable or disable sound devices.

Had to use the control panel again.

What are some popular examples that would be affected by this?

I post again but both my 2 pixel 7 pro units had exactly the same. It not visible at all when the screen is on but still quite disappointing…

Even in iOS 17 the iOS keyboards autocorrect feels like it’s like 10 years behind the Of keyboards like SwiftKey at the time.

I recently switched to iPhone from pixel and am very happy. However, I understand the need to sideload apps, haven’t watched YouTube at all on the iPhone because of the annoying ads.

I’m hoping that iOS allows installing apps from other sources soon, would also love to use the real FF.

I can not recommend pixels anymore after owning my 7 pro for a year (been using google phones since the nexus 5x). Their own tensor chip is behind the competition by 2 years, but importantly they use a shitty modem which causes issues for a large portion of users.

Also pixels used to have a significantly better camera than others, but I feel that gap is so small now that it doesn’t matter at the high end, they’re trading blows now.
The only edge compared to the competition is getting access to google app features earlier than others, like magic eraser. Ain’t what it used to be anymore…

This. I use IntelliJ for Java, Kotlin, typescript, Python, HTML etc… it just does everything and does it better than other IDEs.
