Is it possible you’re thinking of that time Jon Stewart was on Tucker Carlson’s show, rather than vice versa?
That shot of the waiter cackling madly as he fills the bottles has stuck with me for years.
According to The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety:
A total of 4,714 people died in large truck crashes in 2021, a 17 percent increase compared with 2020. Sixteen percent of these deaths were truck occupants, 68 percent were occupants of cars and other passenger vehicles, and 15 percent were pedestrians, bicyclists or motorcyclists.
That seems extremely unlikely to me.
I think this article does a good job of exploring and explaining how LLM attempts at text summarization could be more accurately described as “text shortening”; a subtle but critical distinction.
