Ah yes, a Roadmap so ambitious it requires less hands.
I think Hideo would have a case if they didn’t credit him and the original developers. They obviously didn’t design the game from scratch.
I mean, I’m pretty sure cyberpunk settings usually center around the dystopic future brought about by late stage capitalism.
Governments are like but how do the wealthy feel about it though?
Is this true? The series has had sequence breaks both intentional and otherwise in every game. I don’t think they parched the ones out of Dread either.
It’s always OK to fuck up a Nazi, believe that. Hand these mfers a free life lesson if you get the chance.
No, really, if you understood how the language models work, you would understand it’s not really intelligence. We just tend to humanize it because that’s what our brains do.
There’s a lot of great articles that summarize how we got to this stage and it’s pretty interesting. I’ll try to update this post with a link later.
I think LLMs are useful (and fun) and have a place, but intelligence they are not.
I wish I could travel like, 200 years into the future in the hope that theres an oversimplified video going through all the stupid shit we’re seeing.
Weird, I think the whole PC console game war was relevant when I was a kid and everything was new and cool, but I think at this point the whole “who’s winning the console war” feels immature and is holding the industry back.
Like others have said, I don’t really give a shit what content runs on, so as long as it runs. Better if things run well and I can take them with me like the deck.
You can make the argument about why it’s better to play content on a PC but what’s the point of the comparison? Why does it matter who is better? In an ideal world, everything would run great on affordable PCs that everyone has access to, but I don’t think we’re at that reality.
Wow you wouldn’t think so with the way video game employees have been culled
I was getting into my car the other day and noticed someone getting out of their car and putting a pistol into their wasteband. Looked like they were going into a Buffalo wild wings or something. Like, are you gonna shoot someone in there or what?
My thing is, you’re usually introducing a firearm into a situation where there likely wasn’t one previously, and are putting at risk the lives of everyone around you. I own a firearm and I hope every day I never ever have to use it outside of recreation. Most gun owners are exceptionally irresponsible and don’t give weapons their due respect, this is half the reason so many people get shot for no reason in the US.
I wonder how my man Gordon is doing…
I think these execs are trying to pump up the numbers then cash out. The pandemic and shift to remote work really scared the upper class when they realized people work just fine without them physically breathing down their neck every day.
Nice to see someone say this out loud. At the end of the day no platform is immune to hive mind thinking or ignorance, but hopefully there are solutions for open platforms to enrich people’s lives some.
I heard about this thing but couldn’t really tell what the idea was. I think I want to carry less, not more on me.
Ah, it’s fine. I think the important part is keeping these games runnable on modern systems. I think D2 resurrected did a pretty good job of this, and the time is right since Fallout seems to have exploded in popularity.
Anyone know what the hype is about? Is it like Stronghold? I’m not too keen on getting early access.
No candy crush for this guy!
Lol finally, we can keep these dorks off the streets. Everyone can feel safe now
