many times, shucking is a very valid way to get large format disks for cheaper than retail NAS parts. But be aware of what your buying and make sure that the disk your getting if its a white label is a reliable disk. WD Easystore/Mybook are generally good, as are the larger format Seagate external.
Well in the USA history and statistics probably back up that feeling.
The first Alamo Drafthouse in San Antonio TX. More than a few good memories there.
A close second place is the Latches theater in Brattleboro Vermont. I got to watch dozens of classic films there at the turn of the century.
Tradition, and its dumb as hell since we have set the official definition of every “imperial measure” to metric we just keep using the silly ones.
Yours has a different crimp style, but its a 1/4 turn shutoff valve with PEX crimp. Looks like standard builder quality.
Thanks it’s my first “masonry” project so I was happy that it looked as good as it does. I’m going to go over it with a wire brush to clean it up a bit more.
My elderly neighbor was struggling to use her front door because the walkway had pulled away from the porch.
So I ordered some hand rails and got some pavers and made her a half step so she can safely use her front door and walk her dog.
I have read it at least twice, because I love the idea of Apes and Dolphins in space!
Read the whole series its worth the context and wont leave you with any gaps.
Sometimes there are vendors or distribution rules that require that they don’t post discounts publicly so people can’t price match or other retailers can’t demand a discount to match.
Create 3 VM’s and pass-through disks to each VM. Boom ceph cluster on a single computer.
ZFS/BRTFS might still be better, but if you really want Ceph this should work and provide expansion and redundancy at a block device level, though you wont have any hardware redundancy regarding power/nodes.
If the choice is starve or work for this company, then yes its ethical.
If your skills and experience can transfer to other companies and jobs, then no its not ethical IMO.
Left it years ago and never going back.
It’s your fault, accept the shame and teach her.
Have you tried flat sheets rather than fitted?
Just going to hope that the Democratic institution is strong enough to survive another 4 years.
That’s fine but you asked why it’s free and it’s free to you because you are the product.
If you don’t want to be the product it’s up to you to change the situation. Linux, Unix, Mac, Android are all options even if they are not options that interest you.
You are the product. If you don’t like it then fix that last 10% in Linux or find alternatives to the few things holding you back.
Narrator: it’s not.
Most of the time I just DIY for anything that’s not massive, but when it comes to big projects like Roof/Foundation you listed Friends/Family/Neighbours I trust who have used them in the past.
Once I find a not shit contractor, I latch on to them and maintain that relationship.
