Yes, of course, I can easily install Steam on my Ubuntu-based latest stable version of Linux Mint with the flagship Cinnamon desktop environment. 😄 I just need to get the .deb package file from the official Steam site, and then open the terminal where the .deb file was downloaded, install the appropriate drivers first, and then type:
sudo dpkg -i steam.deb ; sudo apt install -f -y && reboot
🤓
Typical Windows users greet me when I use Linux:
“Oh, you must be a hacker, right?”
"Can you install Steam on your computer?
Although I can’t see any problems between you and me, I can still observe people’s lack of empathy and passive-aggressive behavior. What do you think? 🤔
Rock N’ Roll will never die! 😎🤘🎸
Hmm, I think that based on your comment, I should try to reconsider using a Linux-based phone.
Thanks for your info. 😄👍
Wow, using microG and Aurora to restore my Google Play purchases? But it’s against Google’s ToS, you said. However, I think I don’t want to risk my Google account being banned by using microG and Aurora. Maybe I have another approach: one phone with Google and one phone without Google.
Lifetime subscription to programming learning apps, video editing apps, AI chat and art generator apps, and audio editing tools, which can only be restored by my Google account when I switch to another phone or reset.
YAY! 😄 My favourite Lemmy client now open source! 😄☀️

Not sure what we call them both here. Maybe just pancakes… We have Apam Balik, which looks similar.

If you ask me:-
I use a combination of my instincts, including distro-hopping, since I began using Linux in 2017, reading articles online about Linux tutorials, and even watching YouTube videos. I gave up on Linux and returned to Windows many times, but it ultimately made me return to Linux because it is meant to be my forever operating system. There are so many Linux tutorials available online, including on YouTube. Indian channels taught me how to install Ubuntu, and that was my most memorable beginning with Linux. I also recommend chatting with current viral technologies such as generative AIs; they’ll provide you with answers. So, keep exploring Linux. 😎👍
Kalvin@lemmy.worldtoMicroblog Memes@lemmy.world•Proud Fediverse account signups from Toronto 🇨🇦English21·4 months agoI agree. I also choose to believe that admins and mods have done and are doing their best, because in my online experience, it is always contrary to what some negative users claim, that mods and admins are not doing their job. No, it’s the opposite. This is especially true when the team of admins and mods is transparent about their decisions.
Ah, yes, I can just Uno reverse them. “Can you?” 🤣
