  • I think step porn is so popular because it basically establishes a relationship beforehand, even though it is familial. This gives our guy or whatever proxy for the audience they use a preexisting relationship (creates a taboo and and a reason why they know each other), proximity and opportunities for interaction, no need to go to a bar or whatever (makes the script easy to explain why they are forced together in a situation.

I think it makes creating porn easier since it quickly explains why these two or more people are around each other in a lonely house or hotel room (ease of filming venue), gives them a preexisting relationship with maybe hidden desire (no wooing or any modern prerequisites before meeting a potential sexual partner), it’s a bit taboo but easily ignored by the majority of the audience, and finally an established easy premise to follow and write with a lot of variation to the formula.

  • If there really is a good story that wasn’t told, which is possible in this time travel universe, then I am all for it. Like episode 5 of star wars, terminator 2 or even recent examples blade runner 2049, there was a story to expand on the previous, not imitate the original.

Unfortunately sequels and remakes are now cash cows to milk existing IP’s for easy cash with minimal risk, since they tap into the goodwill of the existing fanbase. It leads to dilution of the original because they don’t take risk with the pre-, se-, or whatever -quel, and it leads to an inferior experience for the fan.

  • They are not slaves they are workers, just like myself working in a mine in South Africa, though I am in platinum. You have full rights to join any union you like in South Africa, it is constitutionally protected. What these guys are doing is an illegal strike, in terms of being violent and forcing others to join them against their will. AMCU has been a radical union, I worked during their 5 month legal strike back in 2014 in the platinum belt. Things were hectic, people were starving and crime really shot up.

Also in South Africa, if you work at a mine but did not join a union, you are automatically part of the largest union, we call it in loco. Nothing wrong with unions nor bargaining for better pay and working conditions, but there is wrong in violent unions that threatens over employees choosing not to participate or in this cases holding them hostage.
