“Oshi no Ko”
“Oshi no Ko”
It’s quite easy if you’re right handed since your dominant hand is in control of the wheel and with left hand you are only moving the hand mostly in straight line and diagonals along with a feedback as well, so it’s hard to mess up.
Welp who could’ve predicted this?? 🤔🤔
It’s rubber mixed with carbon fiber and other processing oils plus wax for oxide protection plus sulphur and with which it’s vulcanized.
There are solid tyres available for forklifts and such which could negate the problem you are mentioning. But the issue is the more the rubber the more energy it consumes. There is no way around it. It’s rubber inherent property. It is precisely why it’s used as it softens the ride by sapping energy obtained by unevenness of the road.
The other reason is heat. Since it saps away the energy, it manifests as heat inside the tyre and since it’s a poor conductor of heat it can’t dissipate it away fast and if it gets hot enough, tyre comes apart. So due to this you can see it is only limited to forklift speeds of 10-15 mph.
Believe me when I say, dealing with rubber is a can of worms with material modeling to manufacturing and maximizing performance of it.
Natural Rubber is plant based but there are synthetic rubber like SBR or BR also used when making different tyre compounds.
There is Michelin’s Tweel concept but it takes a huge cost for additive manufacturing required to manufacture it since it has replicate the cushioning and dampening aspect of tires. (Or else the ride will be bumpy as hell). Only NASA uses it for the rovers and stuff coz it’s about $20k for each wheel of 4 in width.
Don’t give them ideas
I think most of us are finishing all the content in the game and moving on to the next one. It isn’t bad that you move on to the next one once you finish this game.
No. It’s not a Proton issue or a Steam deck issue or a Linux issue. Palworld has a fundamental flaw on how it handling memory and asking for infinite ram. So it doesn’t matter what OS or what manufacturer made because all the devices have finite amount of ram and if you keep asking infinite ram, they will crash when they are out of memory to give.
And I don’t think palworld having memory issue will portray steam deck in negative light when the user comes to know it’s a game bug and not the device or its software bug.
It’s not a steam deck problem, if palworld keeps leaking memory. I have seen that issue in my steam deck, laptop and on my friends dedicated server.
Micheal Jackson and his songs had a massive influence until the child abuse allegations came out. Then I didn’t care about his songs.
Let’s say I have 4 contacts A,B,C&D
A is both a course x mate and committee member for event 1 So tags for A are /batch20xx/course_x/ /event1/OC/
B is senior of course x and also a committee member so tags for B are /batch20xy/course_x/ /event1/OC/
C is a batch mate but on a different course y and also part of committee member and tags are /batch20xx/course_y/ /event1/OC/
D is also a batch mate and course mate but is in PR So their tags are /batch20xx/course_x/ /event1/PR/
I hope this helps.
Oh I’m not aware of this situation.

Check this use case I mentioned here: https://lemmy.world/comment/6114731
Mostly when you have multiple events where you could have made few tags and sub tags to capture the data instead now you have make multiple tags with parent and children as a tag
Can you give more context or an example. Is it like sort of Obsidian graph but the nodes are all contacts or something?
I’m not sure how much legacy code is written for contact apps in smartphones. But given the amount of tweaks and changes apple and Google make in each of their releases I would expect they wouldn’t have any problem integrating this feature.
Also you mentioned legacy code, but why T9 dialing isn’t a thing anymore coz that would be available if they were simply extending from legacy codebase.
True I miss this feature from Google Plus. But I want this more for my local contact app more than social media. And good point on whether needing nesting strictly but given it is known to me that I can only filter in nested tags, I would create a new tag and add all there instead of making it a sub tag.
I am really glad that “Oshi no Ko” threw light at the creepy behind the scenes part of entertainment industry and how prevalent the problem is.
