Legally that might be possible, but surely the solidarity between the bus drivers and the general population would be able to overcome that, wouldnt it?

Why should the bus drivers care about the judges ruling?
Travel differently. Right now I try to use the fastest way to my destination because I only have limited time. But instead just stopping in places on the way or taking slower neans if transportation like hitchhiking would be great
As long as automation is not just a transfer of labor, there is not really anything negative about it.
But in our current world automation does not necessarily mean that something takes less human labor to produce, it usually is just cheaper to produce it that way. Like a robot might make my work day shorter (or just save the capitalist some money) but for robot to exist it needs materials mined, refined, assembly, quality control, shipping and more. Maybe those actions actually need more hours of labor, but because those happen in places where its way cheaper to hire workers the capitalist do that auromation anyway.
Because it is essentially a prison, a place to control you while seperating you from the general population.
Also I am sorry that happened to you.
Ok where can I join?
Do you know of any public reflections / analysis or report backs from groups that were involved?
Idk why you think that literally just planting the same amount of trees is somehow the same as leaving a forest as it is. Especially in the climate crisis where we quite literally need every tree and need to preserve every biotope…
Also
According to BUND, Sehring is not fulfilling the reforestation requirements and is therefore actively contributing to the loss of the forest and biodiversity.
And what are they supposed to do?
Fuck off, thats what they are supposed to do imo
Kinda agree, but more realistically they are selling to the highest bidder without caring for the impact.
Also if they would only sell to windpark builders, they probably wouldnt have to destroy a forest.
Hell yeah lets build more concrete office buildings! Definitely going to brainstorm the solution to climate change in there
Repression against those protesting and protecting the planet is on the rise literally everywhere. Protect yourself and your friends. Stay safe and support those that the state targets.
Also kinda connected, but maybe not what led to OPs legal issues: Many climate protest groups around the world use strategies that focus filming themselves while doing criminal acts and/or getting arrested and identified by the police. I believe its not useful to make it easy for the state to target protestors and organizers.
Egypt telling them this isn’t some whisper by an anonymous source.
Maybe my wording is not that clear, but I am just responding to this part of the article where the source for the story is clearly mentioned as an anonymous source.:
“We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big. But they underestimated such warnings,” the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to discuss the content of sensitive intelligence discussions with the media, told The Associated Press.
Not saying we should trust Netanyahu’s denial of this happening, but at the same time its not really reasonable to just trust an anonymous source in an ongoing conflict where public and international opinion matters a lot.
If there is more to this story then we probably will see more people confirming this in the near future.
So its more the unions that need to be careful and since there (currently) is not really an alternative for bus drivers to organize themselves and start collective action, the bus drivers are restricted by what the union can legally do. Pretty similar situation in Germany.
I think strikes should break laws if the ones striling think it might help them.
