Apple will reportedly ditch the outside screen to make it more affordable for interested buyers, and instead of the $3,500 price, it would set it at around $1,500 to $2,000.
That’s still way too expensive for what it offers.
Sounds like their plans for the next few games could leak soon
It’s currently number 11 in the LMSys chatbot leaderboard. It’s sitting above Llama 3 and Claude 3 Sonnet.
But unfortunately you can’t use this while playing online.
The people working on Snapdragon X Elite are supposedly the same people that worked on the M1 and M2 chips. They made their own company to make ARM chips before being acquired by qualcomm. I was hoping for similar gains…
Most of the reviews I’ve seen so far are a bit lukewarm. Performance and bettery is good, but they’re barely better than what Intel and AMD offer. They promised 20+ hours battery life, we get around 12-13 which is in line with other chips.
The screenshots in the article are from Dave2D’s video which compared gaming laptops to the X Elite. Laptops without a dedicated GPU could outperform it in battery, and are usually cheaper. Not to mention the new generation of chips are reportedly way more efficient. Kind of underwhelming.
It still took me forever so I found a guide
I need to go to australia to see what this ‘plane’ thing is all about
Stability AI crashed and burned so fast it’s not even funny. Their talent is abandoning ship they’ve even been caught scraping images from Midjourney, which means they probably don’t have a proper dataset.
If weapons are allowed, we would win by a landslide. If no weapons are allowed, even then I would think the animals would just start killing each other before they even get to us.
Making every community ever in your instance won’t attract any users, the only thing they’re going to see is dozens of empty communities.
Oh no… Are they running it entirely on serverless functions? What a disaster. I’m surprised the website is still up, is the owner not worried about going bankrupt?
Very cool. I think PieFed will be a sleeper hit when it’s stable, right now the spotlight is on Lemmy and Mbin but I’d gladly switch to it if it has better features. I like the idea of topics to make content discovery way easier. Polls seem nice as well.

oh my god, thank you so much! this fixed everything for me!
Not to mention if it does happen and it does make it to consumers these robots will be insanely expensive to make and maintain. People going “why doesn’t AI just work on physical labor?!” can’t seem to understand that software is a million times easier and cheaper to make
It’s not like scientists woke up one day and said DAMN we need to make robots take away fun jobs ans nothing else. It’s just where machine learning took us.
This is insanely good!
They OCR the entire screen and store it in plaintext?! There is no way… I know it’s Microsoft we’re talking about, but are they really this stupid?
Well yeah, there are way more gamers now than there were 20 years ago. If anything it would be abnormal if the newest generation isn’t as profitable as previous generations.
People said the same thing when the original Vision Pro came out. Aside from some rich people flexing that they own one, I haven’t heard anything about it after one week of release.
