Well, my complaint is he’s actually not doing enough. Last year he approved drilling on the North Slope, so this news is good to hear, but it’s not nearly enough.
Apologies haha. Let’s get back to blaming the children!
It’s the only reasonable explanation I can come up with. The weird part is (it must just be tied to when I saw them?) they were decidedly in like a late 80s early 90s style. I’m mystified.
Apparently there’s a whole glitch in the matrix deal around this, because other people remember seeing them too (I saw a post on reddit) and I wasn’t born much before the 90s. I definitely remember Virginia slim commercials like back to back with RC cola ads during the daytime. I wonder if it was maybe from recorded vhs tapes or something because I can legit picture seeing these ads on tv in my childhood home.
Oh sorry I was clicking through before I saw your comment, I must have clicked off the Winston one when I copied the link https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7zw3ss
Oh bless your heart. We had cigarette commercials into the 90s.
Recently tried to schedule the family optometry appointments together so we could just make one trip. Trying to get four appointments around the same time by making one appointment at a time because that’s how the robot works. Absolutely infuriating to be told “there are no appointments at 3pm, please choose a different time. There are no appointments near 3:15pm, the next closest appointment available is at 3pm.”
Bless the maker
I love this story
Why does the article include so many whatever they’re calling tweets now about aliens/conspiracy theories smh
No I agree, it would be unreasonable to stop all industrial processes, but I do think we can forgo drilling in the arctic which is heating 4 times faster than the rest of the Earth, and already facing climate change impacts like the whole… having to relocate entire communities that have been inundated by rising sea levels, loss of protective landfast sea ice, erosion and flooding (Shishmaref, Chefornak, Newtok, Napakiak, Kotlik, Alakanuk, Kwigillingok, Golovin, Tuntutuliak, and Tununak). Because that’s a part of our current reality as well.
