Blockchain technology =/= Cryptocurrency
But I agree with you, the blockchain technology is amazing for transparency and integrity.
We make grossly exaggerated corny sex jokes when we’re horny and want to get down to it.

Nice one.
I think I first discovered this short via Kurzgesagt animated version.
One thing I miss in Firefox is tab grouping. Yes there are 3rd party extensions that do that. But Chromium based browsers support that natively.
Ou alors, mettons en place une visite médicale obligatoire pour tous les conducteurs une fois toutes les X années. Et après 55 ou 60, la visite passe tous les 2 ans ou un truc du genre.
Most European countries I’ve visited have at least 3 bins/bags : paper, plastic, everything else. Most cities also separate glass and aluminium. Some townhalls offer bags/containers for bio trash, that’s turned into compost.

No love for Stranger Things intro here 😟
I know it is due an upgrade… but I can’t really convince myself to spend 1000€ on a new rig (mobo, cpu, cooling, DDR5, M.2) when I am still able to do everything I want with this decade old CPU.
The only game I’m having stutters in is Escape From Tarkov (CPU intensive, and optimized for single-core).
Other than that, It runs everything I throw at it without a flinch.
Someone sent me this one recently, and the lyrics are interesting.
My i7- 4790K from 2014 thanks you.
Follow-up question for Americans : what happens if you pay for, say 50$ and end up only filling up 40$? Can you go back to the cashdesk and ask for a refund on the difference?
In all EU countries I drove trough, the pump doesn’t auto-start when you unhook the nozzle from the pump. I think the cashier has to manually allow it to start, from their control system/computer.
So I suspect they glance at clients through the shop’s window/cameras, and they don’t start the pump if you look shady (hooded, no plates on vehicle) and they suspect you may run it off.
For example if you ride a motorbike, the cashier sometimes doesn’t start the pump until you remove your helmet / uncover your face (allowing cameras to see your face).
And yes, after filling-up you then need to go pay at the desk. There can be a waiting line if there are more pumps than open cashdesks.
You could easily tank then gun it. But there are cameras everywhere. They have your face & plates.
there a pumps with no human on site at all.
For these we need to swipe a payment method before the pump starts. It locks a sum on your card, say 200EUR, and when you hook the nozzle back it adjusts the payment transaction to only the amount consumed and debits you.
Our CEO came to visit us. It was fun. Some people couldn’t make it because they were out on vacation.
Our department manager announced with less than a week’s notice that he’ll visit us after our CEO, for no specific reason, the weeks around the Easter weekend (Friday and Monday are public holidays so 4 days weekend). For the occasion he asked everyone in the team to cancel vacations approved months ago.
All department employees individually politely declined to cancel their personal plans or approved vacations and involved HR. HR wasn’t aware of the manager’s decision.
He’ll be alone at the office for 2/9 visit days 😂
